Overview
Discover the Colosseum with a guided tour designed for small groups and choose the experience that best suits you.
Depending on the option selected, you can explore the Colosseum basement, walk on the reconstruction of the Arena, or experience a fascinating evening visit to the basement, when the monument is illuminated and the atmosphere becomes even more suggestive.
During the visit the Guide will tell the story of the most famous amphitheatre in the world, explaining how gladiators, animals and sets took part in the shows of ancient Rome.
With the Underground Experience option you will discover the hidden corridors under the arena and the complex mechanisms used during the games. On the Arena Floor tour, you can see the Colosseum from a unique perspective, right where gladiators fought.
At the end of the day tours you can continue the visit independently of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.
Note: Forum and Palatine are not included in the Underground by Night option.
