Überblick
Sie wandern 2–3 Stunden entlang der alten Tokaido-Autobahn, teils auf gepflasterten Wegen, teils auf Waldwegen zwischen Hakone Yumoto und dem Ashi-See. Ein Teil dieses Weges verläuft abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade und wir haben den Wald normalerweise für uns alleine. Dieser Teil des Hachiri verfügt über den am besten erhaltenen Kopfsteinpflasterweg und ursprünglichere Wälder. Sie wandern am Holzhandwerkerdorf Hakone-Hatajuku vorbei und wir überspringen den steilsten Teil des Weges mit dem Bus und erreichen ein Teehaus mit einer 400-jährigen Geschichte. After hiking about an hour, you will reach this wood craving village where you will get to understand the traditional art of Hakone. After this village, you will take a bus to skip the steepest part of the trail to reach the teahouse.
