Überblick
Diese Tour beinhaltet 4–5 Stunden Wandern in Hakone (ca. 8–9 km), sodass die Gäste eine gute Fitness benötigen. Sie durchqueren einen Teil des äußeren Randes der Hakone Caldera, mit möglichem Blick auf den Ashi-See, den Pazifischen Ozean und den Fuji, wenn das Wetter klar ist. Nach dem Abstieg in Richtung Sengokuhara endet der Tag mit Mittagessen und einem Onsen.
Der Aufstieg dauert ca. 90 Minuten und führt über ca. 500 Höhenmeter. Die Gratwanderung geht etwa 2,5 Stunden durch Bambusgras und saisonale Landschaften weiter, bevor es nach Togendai hinabgeht.

You will hike up the mountains in the outer rim of Hakone caldera. We will reach the trailhead by taxi and start the hike from around 700metre above sea level. The temperature is generally lower in the mountain this level.

Stopp 2 · 2 Std.
You will hike along the ridge after you reach the mountaintop. The ridge hike will take around 2.5 - 3 hours or more if you take more photos or snack stops. This is the highlight of this tour because the view is spectacular on the ridge. You could see the Pacific Ocean, Hakone town, Lake Ashi, the volcanic steam of Owakudani, Mt Fuji, and more along the way.

You will hike down to this area.

Enjoy local lunch in this area. There are soba, udon, Japanese curry, and Westernised restaurant in this area. I will suggest a good one according to your choice and availability. Food should be a highlight of any trip.

You will go to an onsen with both indoor and outdoor baths to relieve the tired muscles from the traverse hike. The onsen has a legendary healing effect. This experience can be customised according to your preference.

Endpunkt
After traversing along the ridge, we will reach Togendai and we will enjoy onsen and lunch in that area. You are free to explore the local area after the tour but you can also go with the hiking guide back to Hakone Yumoto Station.
