Überblick
Von Kiruna fahren wir nach Jukkasjärvi, einem der ältesten Dörfer der Region und einem wichtigen historischen Zentrum für die Samen. Wir besuchen die wunderschöne Holzkirche, eine der ältesten in Nordschweden, und lernen die Traditionen kennen, die das Leben in der Arktis geprägt haben.
Als nächstes besuchen wir ein samisches Rentierlager, wo Sie die Möglichkeit haben, die Rentiere zu füttern und Geschichten über die samische Lebensweise, ihre tiefe Verbindung mit der Natur und ihre angestammte Kultur zu hören.

Treffpunkt
To make our pickup service as smooth as possible, we ask all our guests to wait for us outside of the hotel at the designated pickup time, not inside the reception. We will not be able to contact you beforehand, and we will not be able to check inside the reception. We provide a 5-minute waiting period. However, if we cannot reach you, we will have to leave to respect the other guests’ pickup times.
Guests staying at Best Western Arctic Eden will be picked up in front of Arctic Thai, which is a restaurant located directly in front of the hotel, as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Guests staying at Elite Frost Hotel and Scandic will be picked up at the Kiruna Tourism Office (Malmvägen 9B) – just 200m walk as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Unfortunately pick-up/drop-off service is not available at Airbnb, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara or Reindeer Lodge. You’re more than welcome to meet us at any of our designated pick-up points.
