Overzicht
Vanuit Kiruna rijden we naar Jukkasjärvi, een van de oudste dorpen in de regio en een belangrijk historisch centrum voor de Sámi-bevolking. We bezoeken de prachtige houten kerk, een van de oudste in Noord-Zweden, en leren over de tradities die het leven in het noordpoolgebied hebben gevormd.
Vervolgens bezoeken we een Sámi rendierkamp, waar je de kans krijgt om de rendieren te voeren en te luisteren naar verhalen over de Sámi manier van leven, hun diepe verbondenheid met de natuur en hun voorouderlijke cultuur.

Ontmoetingspunt
To make our pickup service as smooth as possible, we ask all our guests to wait for us outside of the hotel at the designated pickup time, not inside the reception. We will not be able to contact you beforehand, and we will not be able to check inside the reception. We provide a 5-minute waiting period. However, if we cannot reach you, we will have to leave to respect the other guests’ pickup times.
Guests staying at Best Western Arctic Eden will be picked up in front of Arctic Thai, which is a restaurant located directly in front of the hotel, as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Guests staying at Elite Frost Hotel and Scandic will be picked up at the Kiruna Tourism Office (Malmvägen 9B) – just 200m walk as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car.
Unfortunately pick-up/drop-off service is not available at Airbnb, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara or Reindeer Lodge. You’re more than welcome to meet us at any of our designated pick-up points.
