Das Airborn Museum liegt im Zentrum von Sainte-Mere-Eglise und nur wenige Kilometer vom Utah Beach und den Landungsstränden entfernt. Es liegt gegenüber dem Glockenturm, an dem der Fallschirmjäger John Steele am D-Day aufgehängt wurde.
Seit Mai 2024 und der Enthüllung des 5. Gebäudes ist das Luftlandemuseum heute eines der größten D-Day-Museums der Normandie und Europas.
