Sinds mei 2024 en de onthulling van het 5e gebouw is het Airborne Museum nu een van de grootste D-Day musea van Normandië en van Europa.

In the building "Operation Neptune", prepare to live the parachuting of June 6, 1944! Embark at night in a real C-47 plane in England, then land on the square of Sainte-Mère-Église in the middle of the fighting and take part in the battles that followed. A 20-minute film emotionally recounts life under German occupation and the liberation of Sainte-Mère-Église and the Cotentin region.

Thanks to Augmented Reality, interactivity, and hyper-realistic graphics of the Histopad tablet, you'll be transported to the heart of Normandy in 1944 and experience the highlights of D-Day. Immersion guaranteed! Witness the German occupation, see gliders landing, handle weapons and equipment to understand how they work, and discover the destinies that shaped History... all this is now possible thanks to the Histopad’s advanced technology!
