Unser Boot, die Golden Gate, wurde in Seahouses speziell für die Farne Islands und insbesondere für die Aufgaben des Trinity House gegenüber den Leuchttürmen gebaut.
George, der Skipper und Leuchtturmwärter, segelt seit sehr langer Zeit um diese Inseln herum. Sie erhalten von ihm unübertreffliche Kommentare und skurriles Wissen.
Saisonale Seevögel wie Papageientaucher, Guillemots, Seeschwalben usw. können nur von Mai bis Juli garantiert gesehen werden.

Stopp 1
A 90-minute cruise around the Farne Islands. You will receive an expert commentary en route by the current Trinity House Lighthouse attendant.
You will see resident seabirds such as cormorants, shags, gulls, and grey seals all year.
During May-July you will also see seasonal birds such as puffins, guillemots, razorbills, terns, etc.
After this time, we can not guarantee to see the seasonal birds for example puffins. Although, there is still plenty to see. -
Stopp 2
You will sail up to Longstone Lighthouse, the former home of our local heroine Grace Darling.
Here you will receive expert commentary on the structure and it's history.
You will also traverse Grace Darling's rescue route with current lighthouse attendant George.
