Overzicht
We zijn een echt klein familiebedrijf dat al heel lang in handen is.
Onze boot, de Golden Gate, is speciaal gebouwd in Seahouses voor de Farne-eilanden en in het bijzonder voor Trinity House-taken voor de vuurtorens.
George, de schipper en vuurtorenwachter, vaart al heel lang rond deze eilanden. Je krijgt van hem onovertroffen commentaar en eigenzinnige kennis.
Seizoensgebonden zeevogels zoals papegaaiduikers, zeekoeten, sterns enz. kunnen alleen worden gegarandeerd in mei-juli.
Sinds Covid-19 uitbrak, streven we er niet naar om onze boot volledig in te pakken om de klantervaring te verbet

Stop 1
A 90-minute cruise around the Farne Islands. You will receive an expert commentary en route by the current Trinity House Lighthouse attendant.
You will see resident seabirds such as cormorants, shags, gulls, and grey seals all year.
During May-July you will also see seasonal birds such as puffins, guillemots, razorbills, terns, etc.
After this time, we can not guarantee to see the seasonal birds for example puffins. Although, there is still plenty to see. -
Stop 2
You will sail up to Longstone Lighthouse, the former home of our local heroine Grace Darling.
Here you will receive expert commentary on the structure and it's history.
You will also traverse Grace Darling's rescue route with current lighthouse attendant George.
