Playa Tortuga (von den indigenen Tolinga genannt) hat eine Fläche von 120 Hektar und wird als geschützter Wald gepflegt; das seit mehr als fünf Jahren die ökologische Blaue Flagge trägt. Diese Auszeichnung wird an Strände in unserem Land verliehen, die über schadstofffreies Wasser verfügen. Aufgrund seiner geografischen Beschaffenheit ist das Wasser türkisfarben und eignet sich hervorragend zum Schwimmen.
