Überblick
Mit der Schließung der Bannockburn Experience bis Sommer 2028 gibt es mehr denn je einen Grund, noch heute eine Freedom Tour zu buchen. Ich war erstaunt über die Anzahl der Touristen, die am Schlachtfeld ankamen, weniger als 10 Minuten an der Stätte der größten Schlacht Schottlands verbrachten und dann Bannockburn verließen.
Das hat mich gelehrt, Besucher willkommen zu heißen und ihnen für die Zeit zu danken, die sie sich genommen haben, um an unsere großen Helden wie Robert the Bruce und James Douglas und alle, die bei Bannockburn gekämpft, gestorben und überlebt haben, zu denken.

Today the site is a peaceful and calming place to walk around and learn about the characters that sculpted Scotlands' future for the next 4 Centuries as an Independent Nation.
