Overzicht
Met de sluiting van Bannockburn Experience tot de zomer van 2028 is er meer reden dan ooit om vandaag nog een Freedom Tour te boeken. Ik was verbijsterd over het aantal toeristen dat op het slagveld arriveerde, minder dan 10 minuten op de locatie van Schotland's grootste slag doorbracht, en vervolgens Bannockburn verliet.
Dit leerde mij om bezoekers te verwelkomen en hen te bedanken voor de tijd die ze nemen om onze grote helden te herinneren, zoals Robert the Bruce en James Douglas, en allen die vochten, stierven en overleefden bij Bannockburn.

Our Walking tour will take place on the Battlefield itself. Bannockburn was crucial to the survival of Scotland as a Nation. Relive the history of Bruce’s greatest victory! Today the site is a peaceful and calming place to walk around and learn about the characters that sculpted Scotlands' future for the next 4 Centuries as an Independent Nation.
