   Begin at Parliament Square, surrounded by the Houses of Parliament, the Supreme Court, and Whitehall. Your guide points out the bronze statues of Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, and Millicent Fawcett among the twelve figures standing here, before Westminster Abbey comes into view.

2. Stop 2 · 40m

   The Cloisters & Coronation Chair
   
   Skip the line into Westminster Abbey and head straight for the Cloisters, one of the only spots inside where photography is allowed. Your guide points out the Coronation Chair, the seat used at every coronation for the past 900 years, and the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

3. Stop 3 · 50m

   The Nave & High Altar
   
   Move into the Nave and toward the High Altar, where royal weddings and state ceremonies have unfolded for centuries. Your guide walks you through the shift from the Abbey's original Romanesque stonework to its later Gothic additions, then past a handful of royal tombs.
